News > First "Sarah Connor Chronicles" Trailer

May 21, 2007

Looks...pretty bad. For those of you who forgot, or care here's the synopsis:

Set after the events in 'Terminator 2' Sarah Connor and her son John, trying to stay under-the-radar from the government as they plot to destroy the computer network Skynet in hopes of preventing Armageddon.

Aside from the participation of Summer Glau, everything in this trailer foreshadows disaster for the upcoming series. The preposterous voiceover narration. The stilted delivery of "Come with me if you want to live." The bad acting all around. The CGI/sound effects that scream "Direct to Video," or even worse, "low-budget sci-fi show on network TV."

I'd suggest any actual Terminator fans watch the movies instead when this thing hits the airwaves, and avoid the squandered potential.
