Joe Roth is partnering with writer-producer Dan Bucatinsky ("The Comeback") for a half-hour ABC comedy, with Alyssa Milano attached to star.

Bucatinsky will write and executive produce, with Roth executive producing and Nina Lederman serving as co-executive producer via the CBS Paramount Network TV-based Joe Roth TV.

The series would be Milano's first since "Charmed" left the air last spring.

Dubbed "Me and Everyone Else," multicamera comedy has Milano playing a 30-year-old, take-charge woman --"Rhoda with a sex life," Bucatinsky said -- who's trying to find her way as an adult.

In addition to Milano's character, named Mia, the show will focus on Mia's boyfriend, her brother and her brother's boyfriend. "It's sort of Lucy, Ricky, Fred and Ethan," Bucatinsky quipped, using another classic TV analogy.

Scribe said much of "Me and Everyone Else" will be autobiographical, telling the story of his own relationship with his sister, but from his sister's point of view.
